Why Choose The Woodrow?

The name ‘The Woodrow’ is inspired by the woods and orchard rows that surround the property, a reflection of the land the venue was built to celebrate.

01.

The space is intentionally designed to adapt to each event rather than dictate it. With its clean architectural lines and neutral palette, the venue provides a beautiful foundation that allows every couple or host to bring their own vision to life. From florals and lighting to layout and décor, the space can be styled in countless ways, making every event feel completely personal and unlike any that came before it.

A Blank Canvas

02.

Set in The Blue Mountains, The Woodrow offers the best of both worlds— close to Collingwood and Thornbury’s restaurants and amenities, while still feeling escaped, quiet, and distinctly its own.

Location

03.

Events at The Woodrow are connected to the orchard and craft distillery, offering a sense of place and the option to incorporate estate-made cider and spirits into the celebration.

Foundations

04.

Nestled between two orchards, The Woodrow is surrounded by rolling rows of rolling apple trees that shift with the seasons. From blossoms in the Spring, to golden leaves in the Fall, the land is part of the experience.

The Grounds

After taking over Spy Cider House & Distillery in 2023, Ian and Darcy saw an opportunity to create something new on the orchard: a space where people could come together, celebrate, and experience the property year-round. That vision became The Woodrow, The Blue Mountains’ only dedicated four-season event venue.

The Founders

Thoughtfully designed to feel connected to its surroundings, The Woodrow offers a setting for gatherings of all kinds, from weddings and milestone celebrations to corporate events, retreats, and everything in between.
